Dr Shine and Madeleine Murray are the Co-founders and Directors of Change by Degrees. Dr Tara Shine spent 20 years as an international climate change negotiator and adviser to governments and world leaders on environmental policy before setting up Change by Degrees. She is author of ‘How to Save Your Planet One Object At A Time’ published in April 2020 by Simon and Schuster. She is a member of faculty of Homeward Bound, a global leadership programme for women in science. Tara is the coming chair of the Board of the International Institute of Environment and Development (IIED).

Madeleine is an archaeologist by training with experience in research, editing and writing at the School of Archaeology, U.C.D. and the National Museum of Ireland. She is an accomplished media strategist, creating and curating impactful content for businesses that reflects their values and vision. She recently acquired a Diploma in UX Design.
