In Conversation with Elaine Laird, Head of Global Supply Chain and Site Lead at Logitech Cork
Join us in conversation with Elaine Laird, Head of Global Supply Chain and Site Lead at Logitech Cork for our Business Breakfast Live.
In these remote working and technology dependent times, you probably own a Logitech device or two. Check your headset, mouse, keyboard or webcam. With products sold in almost every country in the world, Logitech has developed into a multi-brand company designing products that bring people together through music, gaming, video and computing, and of course there is a Cork link.
From the Airport Business Park, Elaine Laird leads one of the key offices in Logitech's global footprint. A site that started as a manufacturing facility; to a sales office of 10 to hosting approximately 200 talents in design, engineering, product development, finance, supply chain, people & culture and IT.
Elaine oversees a team of 230 supply chain professionals in 17 countries all focused on supporting corporate growth objectives while optimizing resources and risk for Logitech. She is also a member of the company's global executive leadership team and heads up their global supply chain function.
The Cork office also hosts the leaders of Logitech’s sustainability team, addressing Logitech’s commitments to climate change, carbon impact and transparency, and renewable energy.
Working over 18 years with the company, Elaine will share how Logitech has seen its Cork operations grow to encompass more opportunities with their recent expansion plans; her role in a multi-billion dollar company, their commitment to sustainability and climate change; and her insights into the future of remote working.
Following this discussion members will have the opportunity to meet and network with their 'virtual breakfast table' for the final 15 minutes of this online event.
