Join us for an In Conversation event with Jan McCullough and Emmett Scanlon, Director of the Irish Architecture Foundation and Artistic and Editorial Organiser of the 18thInternational Architecture Exhibition, Venice Biennale.

Jan McCullough is a visual artist based in Northern Ireland. Her work explores the human acts of construction, fabrication and DIY, and the communities of interest and place that form around them - employing the materials and languages associated with these activities to create sculptural installations, interventions and photographs.

Night Class is a new series of sculptural interventions and photographs responding to the artist’s research into the history of Crawford Art Gallery. The work explores how acts of labour and the people who perform it are intertwined with the building’s fabric.
