Bamboo is changing the way people interact with local restaurants and cafes. Through their mobile app, they relieve friction plus the customers need to wait, giving users instant access to lunch and coffee at the touch of a button. Started in 2017 by graduates Luke Mackey and Alan Haverty, they've grown to over 70+ restaurants and cafés in Dublin and are launching in Cork city this month.
Pointy
Established two years ago, Dublin based Pointy aims to make it effortless for bricks and mortar retailers to list their products online, but sell in-store. People search online for where they can find products near them. Thats where Pointy comes in. It does this by connecting a small device to a shop's existing point of sale, which then automatically puts a product's details online as it is scanned.
Having been featured by media outlets like Forbes, BBC and RTÉ, to date Pointy has been adopted by over 3,000 retailers.
