John Carpenter's Halloween
Michael Myers escapes from the Illinois State Mental Hospital after 15 years’ treatment for the murder of his sister and is returning to Haddonfield to relive the crime. Michael sets about systematically killing his prey while Dr. Loomis searches for a clue that will lead him to Michael. What follows is a reign of terror. John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN was the horror movie sensation of the late 1970s, becoming one of the most successful independent movies of all time and spawning many sequels, remakes and imitations, but few capture the quality of the original.
