Join us for an exciting event at Ludgate where you'll learn all about the art of Creative Destruction with the award winning international artist Aoife van Linden Tol.

Aoife shares philosophies and methodologies from her multidisciplinary practice which includes working with explosives and pyrotechnics. She shares powerful learnings from pivotal projects which have shaped her art career. Expect to get your hands dirty as you experiment with transforming objects using destructive methods to create an artwork.

Aoife van Linden Tol

Aoife van Linden Tol FRSA is an award winning multi-disciplinary artist working at the nexus of art, science and technology. Specialising in explosives she has fused her interests in nature, and outer space. She creates abstract works which often examine concepts of time, density and matter as well as deep human emotions and motivations. Aoife has a Master of Science in Space Studies from the International Space University and a Bachelor in Art and Design from Central St Martin's. Aoife was Artist in residence at the European Space Agency in 2016/17. Her artwork Copper Cosmos flew aboard the International Space Station in 2023.
