Lunch & Learn: Supports for Business with the Local Enterprise Board Cork
Join Adrienne Rodgers, Head of Enterprise in the Local Enterprise Office, Cork City, at REPUBLIC OF WORK on Monday April 9th for a lunchtime session discussing Supports for Business through the Local Enterprise Office.
The Local Enterprise Office provides a range of financial and additional supports designed to assist with the establishment and/or growth of businesses. This support includes advice, mentoring, linkages as well as financial supports such as grants.
Adrienne Rodgers currently holds the position of Head of Enterprise in the Local Enterprise Office, Cork City. Adrienne has worked in the Local Enterprise Office (formerly the county and city enterprise boards) for over 20 years and has gained a great deal of experience in the development and delivery of supports to the micro enterprise sector. Adrienne oversees the implementation of a wide range of initiatives that help to strengthen and grow businesses based in cork city. Supports range from grant aid for manufacturing and internationally traded service companies to a suite of soft supports such as mentoring and management development training for all small businesses.
Prior to working in the Local Enterprise Office, Cork City, Adrienne worked in the Commercial Banking sector with AIB and Barclays Bank for over ten years. During her time with Barclays Bank she worked with commercial clients in both Cork and Dublin. In AIB she worked with retail clients in branches in Mitchelstown and 97, South Mall as well as commercial clients in 66, South Mall, Cork.
