Mad Scientist Weekend

Mad Scientist Weekend

Calling all young budding scientists, Fota Wildlife Park is welcoming back it's popular Mad Scientist Weekend this year! Taking place July 16th and 17th in the Large Marquee outside the Oasis Café from 12 to 5 pm each day.

Want to know why the sky is blue? Why some coins turn green? How your digestive system works? Or what causes static electricity? This is the weekend for you!

Lifetime Lab Cork, APC Cork, Tyndall Institute, & BEES UCC will be joining our own ‘Mad Scientists’ for a fun weekend of science!

Experts from the Learn it LEGO® Education Workshops will be present to demonstrate their latest technologies and will provide participants with a fun and informative hands on opportunity.

Fota Wildlife Park’s Education Team will be there to introduce your children to the magic of science and will be showing experiments and providing them with opportunities to explore the wonders of water, light, and magnetism, among others!

~

This event is open to all Fota Wildlife Park visitors on the day, no extra cost & no additional booking.
