Join us on Saturday 29th July for the HOPE 2023 Mountain Challenge in the Galty Mountain Range, and raise vital funds to help support HOPE’s Projects in Kolkata.
Take on Ireland’s 5th highest Mountain at 919 metres tall with trained and experienced Mountain Leaders. Galtymore is the highest of the Galty Mountains, a sandstone and shale mountain range which runs east-west for thirty kilometres between counties Tipperary and Limerick; Galtymore is the highest point of both counties.
This is a 11km Hike, starting at Galtymore Carpark summiting Galtymore (919 metres) and returning
Participants must have a Moderate Level of Fitness
Walking boots, wind and waterproof clothing are essential (Gear List will be emailed prior to the Event)
All participants will receive a (free) HOPE Tshirt

Duration: 4 to 6 hours (Dependent on weather & stops)
