Native Species Weekend

Native Species Weekend

Native Species Weekend, July 30th & 31st is a must for any tiny tots interested in learning more about Ireland’s own amazing creatures. Visitors to the park can learn about the variety of native flora and fauna that exists in Ireland and how everyone can play a role in helping to conserve our natural heritage!

Running in the large Marquee beside the Oasis Café from 12 – 5 pm both days.
Throughout the weekend, wildlife experts will be available to answer your questions on a variety of topics. Fota Wildlife Park’s Education department will be on hand as well as, the Cork Nature Network, East Cork Beekeeping Association, learn all about Ireland’s native flora species from the Clarenbridge Garden Centre and check out the biofact display from Fota Wildlife Park.

This event is open to all Fota Wildlife Park visitors on the day, no extra cost & no additional booking.
