Network Cork Business Woman of the Year Awards 2021
Come and Celebrate Network Cork’s Businesswomen of the Year!
In a time like no other, it’s important to recognize how far we have come. These awards celebrate the achievements of our members as they navigate adversity – growing, adapting and building resilience.
The Network Cork Business Woman of the Year 2021 event will be one of Network Cork’s highlights of the year. Meet the finalists in 8 categories and join us for the live announcement of the overall winners in each category. MC for the night is Keith Cunningham and we are excited to have keynote speaker Christine Armstrong. We will introduce you to the sponsors of each category, our judging panel and each of the winners.
This is a night not to be missed. So dig out that glamourous dress from the back of the wardrobe and maybe even those high heels…! as we celebrate with our finalists and overall winners on their amazing achievements. We will be connecting to you virtually and live from the studio in VE Studio Cork!
More about the speaker & MC:
Christine Armstrong: Christine’s book “The Mother of all Jobs – How to have children, a career and stay sane(ish)” was a finalist in the Business Book of the Year Awards 2019, featured as the cover story of the Sunday Times Magazine and has appeared in over 100 articles worldwide. She also writes regularly for The Times and Sunday Times, The Daily Telegraph, Management Today, Grazia and Red and has been on the BBC and Women’s Hour. After twenty-five years working in organizations trying – and mostly failing to change – and seven years interviewing people for her recent book, Christine knows why. In her talk, she explores the common mistakes we all make and she goes on to explore the future of work from here on out. https://www.christinearmstrong.com

The name ‘Mná Feasa’ (in English, “Wise Women”) originates from Irish Mythology. Mná Feasa was set up primarily by women who have themselves survived domestic violence and it is thus a crucial link in women’s challenges to violence. We are a community based project run by trained and experienced staff to help victims of domestic violence. https://mnafeasa.com/
