Our guest this month Deirdre O'Connor was once named on the Sunday Independent’s list of most powerful Irish women in international business. Born in Cobh, Co. Cork, Deirdre studied Accounting at MTU and now lives in New York City with her husband Fergall and their three children.
Deirdre was named on the Wall Street Top 50 list for multiple years by American Ireland magazine. She is CFO of BlackRock Alternatives Investments Funds which has $320 billion assets under its management and Deirdre is also Managing Director. She was previously Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and Vice President at JPMorgan.
Deirdre was the International Advisor to the Irish Department of Finance. She co-chairs the Diversity Project North America and was the founding member of the Digital Irish Angels. She was on the Board of Directors of Woman’s Bond Club and Concern USA.

• All in-person attendees must be fully vaccinated.• A vaccination passport or an HSE vaccination card, along with photo ID, will be required by the venue upon entry. If you cannot be vaccinated on medical grounds, the venue will also accept a GP letter if submitted in advance.• Masks must be worn when moving around the venue. Masks will be required when you are seated.

• Admittance & Running Order: The event kicks off at 7.30pm, and since it's being live-streamed, everyone must be seated no later than 7.20pm. Please allow plenty of time to arrive and find your seat before then. Thank you very much for your consideration in this matter.

• Parking Complementary parking is available in The Montenotte Hotel car park. Seating: This is a ticketed event and we will be allocating seats.
