ODDITY, filmed in County Cork, is the second feature length horror film from director Damian McCarthy. It follows a blind medium who uncovers the truth behind her sister’s death with the help of a frightening wooden mannequin. It premiered at the prestigious South by Southwest festival earlier this year where it won the Audience Award in the Midnighter section of the festival. Since then, ODDITY has been getting rave reviews from critics hailing it as “one of the scariest movies of the year” (Dread Central) and “a true modern horror classic” (Film Treat).
