'Riders in the Storm': Aspira hosts project management Lunch & Learn event with Tom Moore and Paul Sheridan

Aspira are delighted to host ‘Riders in the Storm’, the second in our 2018 Lunch & Learn series covering aspects of Project Management, to be held in Cork on Fri, April 13th.

Come hear Tom Moore and Paul Sheridan share how they overcame many obstacles to complete ten Tour De Munsters, a Race Across America (RAAM), cycled from Mizen Head to Malin Head in 23 hours and recently completed a London-Edinburgh-London in 106 hours.

Tom Moore is a thirty year Veteran of IT,  initially with the Irish Naval Service, time spent with the UN in Lebanon and Beirut, over a decade with Motorola  and currently Senior IT Director in PepsiCo responsible for IT operations in Europe, Russia and South Africa.

Paul Sheridan is an Electronics Engineer with a real talent for motivating and project managing others.  Paul has channelled these skills to organise the initial ‘Tour de Munster’ in 2001 and he has nurtured it since to become a major event in the cycling landscape, raising significant contributions to deserving charities such as Downs Syndrome Ireland.

Join us to hear their journey on what it takes to plan and manage such massive events, what it’s like as a competitor in these endurance events, and the parallels with managing projects in the world of business.
