SALOMÉ LAMAS in conversation with Miguel Amado

For Cork Lifelong Learning Festival 2022, Salomé Lamas is in conversation with curator Miguel Amado about her latest exhibition, which is currently on display in Triskel Gallery Space.

Salomé Lamas (b. 1987, Portugal) is a filmmaker and artist based in Lisbon. She makes work employing ethnography, storytelling, and performance to consider themes of history and memory. Her subject matter includes colonial violence and the realms of global capital in an attempt to excavate realities underrepresented in the collective unconscious, the media, popular culture, and mythology.
