If you are looking to scale your business into international markets and the US is on your horizon, then this event will offer an overview of the US economy as well as combination of practical tips from support agencies and advice from companies that have set up US operations in recent years.
The event is being hosted by Cork Chamber’s International Relations team, in partnership with the SelectUSA office in the US Embassy. SelectUSA is the U.S. Government’s federal level agency that is responsible for promoting and supporting foreign direct investment into the United States. The program is part of the wider remit of the U.S. Department of Commerce. In 2017, Ireland became one of only 12 countries worldwide to have a dedicated SelectUSA office established in market which is located at the U.S. Embassy Dublin. Since its inception, the SelectUSA office in Ireland has helped to facilitate over $1.3 billion worth of Irish investment which has resulted the creation of more than 5,000 jobs the United States.
Speakers from support organisations include: US Embassy; US Consular and US Customs & Border Protection; OCO Global; accounting and legal experts. They will be joined by industry panellists who will discuss their company’s journey into the US including:
