Ruth Patchett has had enough. When her husband Bob runs off with the gorgeous novelist Mary Fisher, she does not get mad, she gets…evil. Ruth reinvents herself to extract her revenge upon Bob and his scheming mistress. Based upon the novel The Life and Loves of a She-Devil by Fay Weldon, SHE-DEVIL is a wickedly dark comedy with memorable performances from Roseanne Barr as Ruth, Ed Begley Jr. as Bob and Meryl Streep as Mary Fisher.

Triskel Arts Centre is delighted to present a selection of films from director Susan Seidelman. Starting with the impressive independently made SMITHEREENS she went onto direct the wonderfully witty DESPERATELY SEEKING SUSAN with Rosanna Arquette and Madonna, the good-natured sci-fi comedy MAKING MR. RIGHT with John Malkovich, and the wickedly humorous revenge tale SHE-DEVIL, which gave Meryl Streep her first comedic role. Check out all of these films which are screening part of this season.
