Sleep out against homelessness

This Friday 11 October, join us for the 12th anniversary of Focus Ireland's Shine A Light, proudly supported by Bord Gáis Energy. This annual event is a nationwide sleep out raising awareness and funds for Focus Ireland, the national organisation tackling homelessness in Ireland.  

Shine A Light takes place on the second Friday of October each year and serves as a powerful call to action for everyone who believes homelessness is wrong.  

On Friday, 11 October, we are encouraging businesses, schools, and communities to connect on a personal level with the issue of homelessness by taking part in a nationwide sleep out in an effort to raise awareness, and much needed funds, for thousands of individuals, children, and families without a home. Together, let’s shine a light on homelessness and work towards a brighter future where everyone has a place to call home.

Whether you're a company or an individual, there is a sleep out option for everyone. Chose to join us at one of our exclusive hosted sleep outs, for business leaders and teams of corporates, or organise your own event in your workplace or preferred location. By participating in Shine A Light, you send a powerful message to your colleagues, industry peers, and the wider community, that you are committed to ending homelessness.
