Soirée Musicale - Concert of French Music

An evening of 19th Century & Contemporary French Composers, with Maria Mulcahy (Flute) and David O’Sullivan (Keyboard).

We are delighted to welcome you to Alliance Francaise de Cork Galerie for our upcoming Soirée Musicale – Concert of French Music with Maria Mulcahy (Flute) and David O’Sullivan (Keyboard).

Maria and David will perform a selection of 19th Century pieces from composers such as Benjamin Godard, Louis Ganne, Gabriel Faure and Philippe Gaubert, as well as more recent pieces – Marguerite Monnot’s interpretation of Edith Piaf’s timeless “La Vie en Rose”.

Featuring in the programme also is the great Michel Legrand’s “I Will Wait for You” (“Je ne pourrai jamais vivre sans toi”), theme song from Jacques Demy’s 1964 masterpiece “The Umbrellas of Cherbourg”
