SUMMER EXHIBITION 2026

Running over six weeks and featuring 30-40 artists and makers the Summer Exhibition at Lavit Gallery is an annual group show featuring painting, print, photography, sculpture and craft. There is a Cork emphasis but new artists from across the country are invited each year.

Participating artists and makers this year include Ailbhe Barrett, John Behan, Johnny Bugler, Mary Burke, Patrick Cashin, Tom Climent, Carmel Creaner, Debbie Dawson, Megan Fahy, Sean Farrell, Billy Foley, David Fox, Deirdre Frost, Tim Goulding, Etain Hickey, Joe Hogan, Rachel Joynt, Jo Kelley, Ronja Lagerqvist, Andrew Ludick, Linda McCann, Hannah Mooney, Janet Murran, Deirdre O'Brien, Marta Ozog, Linda Plunkett, Victor Richardson, Aisling Roche, Katrina Treml and Sarah Wren Wilson.

Cork Arts Society (est 1963), trading as Lavit Gallery, is a not-for-profit arts organisation, registered charity (CHY 13297) and CLG dedicated to promoting an appreciation of art in Cork City through the provision of a gallery space in which artists can exhibit their artwork for public patronage. Lavit Gallery also serves the art community and the public through its non-commercial activities such as artist talks, exhibition tours, continued professional development and the provision of two graduate awards given annually to students at MTU Crawford College of Art & Design.
