Sustainability Shift: How Next Generation Supply Chain Leaders Can Impact Change
The Sustainable Cork Programme (SCP) is designed to set a vision for a more sustainable and resilient Cork, empowered by a thriving business community.
In today’s rapidly changing world, the call for sustainability in supply chains has never been louder. Businesses are now under increasing pressure from both legislation and consumers to ensure that their products are made in a way that protects people, the planet, and future generations. Central to the sustainability conversation is the concept of circularity and managing Scope 3 emissions, which represent up to 80% of a company’s total greenhouse gas emissions.
This event directly advances SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production by providing businesses with strategies for sustainable supply chains, circularity, and emissions reduction. It empowers leaders to adopt responsible practices that protect the planet and enhance business resilience, equipping attendees with tools to ensure their supply chains not only meet but exceed sustainability expectations.
Why you should attend:
• Stay Ahead of Legislation: Understand and comply with new sustainability mandates like the CSRD. Turn compliance into a competitive advantage.
• Meet Consumer & Investor Expectations: Gain insights on meeting transparency and sustainability demands to elevate your brand reputation.
• Build Resilient Supply Chains, Discover how sustainable practices can strengthen your supply chain, making it more resilient against future risks.
