Talent Management in the Evolving World of AI: The Time is Now
Per the global Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), ‘while AI is already established and present in a variety of applications – including HR information systems, spreadsheet software, learning platforms, as well as search engines and social media apps – recent developments have made hugely powerful AI technology accessible and readily available. People professionals need to lean into the technology and support their people in adopting and using these tools to ensure responsible and ethical use’. Here in Ireland, Skillnet’s recent research ‘Ireland’s Talent Landscape 2024’ revealed that over 60% of businesses stated their workforce would need up-skilling in digitalisation (including AI) and sustainability, to navigate complex modern challenges and remain competitive.
