The Continuous Evolution of the Recruitment Industry
Cork Chamber is delighted to partner once again with the National Recruitment Federation to bring you relevant industry updates, information and some important industry tools for the continuous improvement of the recruitment industry.
At the event, we will hear about Talent Acquisition and Retention from Dublin City University Professor David Collings. Professor Collings was on the faculty at the University of Sheffield Management School, at the National University of Ireland, Galway and has researched and consulted with a number of multinational companies in the areas of global mobility and talent management, with his most recent work focussing on building the links between global mobility and global talent. He is also a recognised influencer on this topic and a regular contributor to academic journals and books.
Karen O’Reilly is the founder of Employmum, an organisation that seeks to match professionals with businesses that are looking for experienced staff to help grow and enhance their businesses. Employmum works with candidates who are actively seeking flexible roles as well as organising workshops for returners and implementing 'returnships' for professionals returning to the workplace.
We will also have an engaging panel discussion with industry experts including:
Ed Heffernan, Barden Recruitment & NRF Treasurer
Jimmy Sheehan, ContractingPlus
Katherine Fitzpatrick, Cork Chamber
Professor David Collings, DCU
This event will be opened by CEO of the National Recruitment Federation, Geraldine King and chaired by Bryan Hyland, NRF Cork Regional Chair.
