Our panelists will share with us how flexible working has benefited their work, their employees productivity and their experience going from traditional working hours to flexible working hours.

John O'Riordan, Shopify
John Riordan is Director of Support for Shopify. John leads a variety of different customer support teams for Shopify, including groups in Ireland, Lithuania, Canada and the Philippines. The majority of John’s teams work from home, a business model he has evangelised for over the last 15 years in the US, UK and Ireland. John has spent much of his career in the US - working for Apple, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Arise Virtual Solutions and US Airways. In 2010 John and his family returned to his hometown of Cork, Ireland where he now resides with his wife and two teenagers
Tracy Keogh, GrowRemote
Tracy is a co-organiser of Grow Remote, a community project opening up the regions of Ireland to companies who hire remotely and nomads. She is a global facilitator with Techstars Startup Weekend tapping into startup ecosystems across Europe. Previously, Tracy was an early employee in two technology startups, Ex Ordo and Desposify, looking after everything from finance to pitches and tech support. Tracy currently works in Bank of Ireland having set up their innovation programmes in the west.
Shane Evans, Scrapinghub
Shane is the CEO and co-founder of Scrapinghub, a company that helps businesses get data from the web. Scrapinghub has been a fully remote company since its founding in 2010 and now has over 150 remote workers from all over the globe. Prior to Scrapinghub, Shane was the Head of Engineering at lastminute.com and has been on the founding team of a few startups.
Karen O Reilly, Employmum
Karen O'Reilly is the founder of Award winning Employmum, a flexible recruitment agency for professionals - Employmum specialises in recruiting for remote work, part time, compressed hours, job share, term time and ROWE.
Recently announced by Silicon Republic as one of the 8 main influencers in the Future of Work, Karen spearheads the flexible work revolution in Ireland.
Along side the recruitment side of the business, Employmum is supported by a panel of hand picked life and career coaches. They also run Back to Work workshops and facilitate returnships with partner companies.
