The Marketing Institute presents The Futuristic Marketing Ball 2017
While you are reading this, trends are changing and technology is advancing, so don’t sit still, look to the future and buy your early bird ticket to The Marketing Institute of Ireland Cork’s (MII Cork) ‘Futuristic Marketing Ball 2017’ which takes place on Saturday 1st April at the Clayton Hotel Silver Springs, newly refurbished Meeting Ballroom and Events Centre.
Launched at a stylish futuristic themed event, attended by some of Cork’s top marketers recently, the MII Cork annual ball is set to hit a new stratosphere as excitement is already building among the marketing community. MII Cork can’t predict the future but they tell us that they can lead the way and help you to be at the forefront and cutting edge of Cork’s Marketing Scene. The annual ball is sponsored by Cork’s 96fm & C103 and the raffle on the night is in aid of Bumbleance, the Childrens Ambulance Service owned by the Saoirse Foundation providing fun, care and compassion for Ireland's sickest children.
The event is set to be “out of this world” with an amazing line up of entertainment, fabulous food, networking and most of all, a spectacular celebration of a future that's looking brighter than ever.
Kicking off with a drinks reception from 6.30pm sponsored by Barry and Fitzwilliam, organisers have managed to secure music artist & producer ‘Daithi’ fresh from touring with international acts and performances at Electric Picnic, who will share his music that will amaze the marketing and business community of Cork on the night – coupling his violin with his looping and DJing techniques.
Revellers will then move to the Futuristic inspired dining room where The Clayton Hotel Silver Springs, will put on an impressive meal, guaranteed to tantalise all taste buds. Entertainment will be provided by singer-songwriter Nella with live visuals from Generic People, which will transport guests to another dimension, followed by the incredibly popular Band ‘The Jabronis’ and a DJ from Cork’s 96fm and C103 who will be on hand to keep the guests entertained to the early hours of the morning.
The Marketing Ball is also famous for its gifts and prizes and each couple will receive a Futuristic inspired gift along with the coveted goody bag - already bursting with a whole host of amazing products!
Maressa Mills, MII Cork Ball Chairperson commenting at the launch event said; “The ball is one of the highlights of our MII Cork calendar, and each year we set ourselves the difficult task of trying to surprise and delight guests, building and improving on this event year on year. This Futuristic Marketing Ball is really going to be out of this world! We have always had great fun at this sell-out event, and this year we are really upping our game with the Futuristic theme and a few surprises up our sleeves! Guests always go to great lengths with the glam, so this year, we are putting it out there to all to up their game in terms of their attire on the night. This year it is not all about the dress or tux, think accessories or futuristic and funky hair or make-up -you name it, just remember it’s black tie!”
