THIS BEACH presented by Brokentalkers at The Everyman

Brokentalkers’ This Beach is a blistering satire of white western privilege made in response to the global refugee crisis.

The beach is private. A European family owns it. They have owned it for generations. During a wedding celebration, a stranger arrives on their shore, and the family must decide how to deal with him.

Brokentalkers (The Blue Boy, Have I No Mouth) returns with a searing response to the current refugee crisis gripping Europe. This Beach shines a spotlight on the lengths some people will go to prevent others entering their world. Sharply written and keenly observed, This Beach incorporates Brokentalkers’ trademark style of telling stories of social importance in an innovative way.

“Timely and contemporary This Beach pushes at the boundaries of the Irish performance canon and ensures Brokentalkers remain one of the most challenging contemporary performance companies in Ireland” thereviewshub.com (click HERE to read full review)
