Twig
Twig and her young lover Eamon dream of escaping the gangland strife in Dublin's inner city where they live. Twig's older brothers war over the future of their late father's kingdom. After a shootout, her eldest brother, Eddie, is dead and her other brother, Paulie, is in hiding. Fear spreads through the community as Leon Duke, who set the two brothers against each other, takes control, clamping down on anyone who questions his authority.
Leon plans a lavish funeral for Eddie but declares that Paulie's body, when found, will be left to rot in the street. Twig, guided by God's law not Leon's, goes searching for Paulie. No one suspects that little Twig will stand up to Leon who, with his guns and henchmen, is no match for the iron will of this young woman.
