UCC Innovation Master Class: Innovation for low-tech SME's
As part of the All Island Innovation programme, the School of Management & Marketing, UCC are delighted to announce the next innovation masterclass in the 2016/2017 series of international innovation thought leaders.
The speaker for this event is Dr. Oliver Som, Professor for innovation management and innovation economics at the Management Center, Innsbruck and author of the book "Low-tech Innovation: Competitiveness of the German Manufacturing Sector" (http://www.springer.com/gp/book/9783319099729#aboutAuthors ).
Dr. Som will visit UCC on Monday 21st November 2016 to deliver a master classes entitled Innovating without R&D - effecting strategy and management in 'low-tech' SMEs. The master class (9.30-11.30am in the Library Creative Zone) will focus on innovation strategies for SME firms operating in traditionally non-R&D-performing industries and provide the audience with practical insights based on German case study evidence.
