While tourism has needed to be put on pause for the time being, Visit Cork would like to use this opportunity to highlight some of the amazing things to see and do in Cork City and County for when it is once again safe to travel.
This is being done through the Visit Cork Familiarisation Sessions which feature presentations from some of Cork's hidden gems, along with industry discussion in a soapbox format.
We invite everyone with an interest in Cork Tourism to attend these sessions, especially those working in the industry who deal directly with visitors or guests.
Next Wednesday will be our last Familiarisation Session of this current run and we ask that all those involved with Cork Tourism make a special effort to attend as we will be having presentations from some of Cork most well known attractions as well as a short update from Visit Cork.
We would also like if everyone attending could have a glass or a mug with them on the call, so that we can raise a toast to what will hopefully be a good upcoming season.
Next Wednesday's Session will include updates from:
Cork City Gaol - Sarah O'Shea
Spike Island - John Crotty
Blarney Castle & Gardens - Paul O'Sullivan
Fota Wildlife Park - Sean McKeown
