When the Cathedrals Spoke Italian

St Fin Barre's Cathedral is delighted to invite you to a night of Italian Culture and music with performances from the extraordinary Cathedral Choir led by conductor Peter Stobart and organist Matthew Breen followed by a presentation in Italian on the mosaic artwork which was created by Italian artisans. Evensong at 6:15pm will be Italian themed and the Choir will perform two canticles by Palestrina while Matthew will play a voluntary by Frescobaldi. This will be followed at 7pm by a presentation about the Cathedral and fresco in Italian and will include more music by Italian composers. We are all very excited by the event and encourage all Italians and lovers of Italian to come and join us in the magnificent surroundings of St Fin Barre's Cathedral.
