As demand continues to grow, we are seeking a Senior Consultant / Trainer Manager to join our Cork team. This is a pivotal, senior level role combining high level consultancy expertise with strong training capability.

The Opportunity

This role is designed for a seasoned EHS professional who is equally comfortable:

• Leading complex consultancy projects

• Advising senior leadership teams

• Delivering engaging, accredited training programmes

• Representing EHS International with authority and credibility

You will act as a trusted advisor to clients while also delivering high impact training that strengthens compliance, capability and culture.

Key ResponsibilitiesConsultancy & Technical Leadership

• Lead audits, risk assessments and EHS management system reviews

• Support ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 implementation and maintenance

• Advise on PSDP / PSCS, ATEX, process safety and high hazard risk environments

• Develop tailored EHS strategies across regulated sectors

• Provide practical, commercially focused compliance guidance

Training Delivery

• Deliver accredited and bespoke EHS training programmes

• Facilitate engaging classroom, onsite and virtual sessions

• Adapt delivery style to suit operational teams, supervisors and senior management

• Support development of new course material aligned to client need

• Mentor junior trainers where required

Client & Commercial Development

• Act as senior point of contact for key client accounts

• Build long term, trusted relationships

• Identify service expansion opportunities within existing accounts

• Support proposals, tenders and solution design

Candidate Profile Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Science or related field

• Chartered membership of IOSH desirable

• Relevant training qualifications highly advantageous

Experience

• 8 plus years senior consultancy or in house EHS leadership experience

• Demonstrated training delivery experience across regulated sectors

• Strong knowledge of Irish and EU health, safety and environmental legislation

• Experience in sectors such as pharma, life sciences, construction, energy or manufacturing
