Always Wanted To… Hike or Bike? Now Is Your Moment.

We all have that list. The things we’ve always meant to do. The climb, the cycle, the challenge that’s been sitting there, waiting.

This year, Breakthrough Cancer Research is inviting you to turn that “Always Wanted To…” into something powerful.

Whether you come as an individual, a group of friends, or a team of colleagues, you can take on an unforgettable challenge while helping to fund life-saving cancer research here in Ireland.
Always Wanted To… Climb Croagh Patrick?

If it’s been on your list for years, this is your chance to finally do it, surrounded by a community of people all taking on the same challenge for a shared purpose.

Always Wanted To… Climb Lugnaquilla?
For the first time, we’re heading to Lugnaquilla, Leinster’s highest peak, on Saturday, May 9th, 2026.
This is a more demanding climb, perfect for teams or individuals ready to push themselves that bit further, together.

Always Wanted To… Cycle the Ring of Kerry?

Take on one of Ireland’s most famous cycles on Saturday, July 4th, 2026 as part of the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle.
With an incredible atmosphere from start to finish, this 170km route is a bucket-list experience and a powerful way to support cancer research.
