Cork Chamber welcomes Motorola Solutions’ new investment in Cork City
Cork Chamber, the voice of business in Cork, has welcomed Motorola Solutions’ announcement that it is to open a new Research & Development Centre in Cork, creating 200 jobs.
The R&D Centre’s 200 highly skilled jobs will be focused on software design for the firm’s comprehensive land mobile radio (LMR) portfolio, supporting both public safety and commercial initiatives.
Director of Public Affairs at Cork Chamber, Cathal McSweeney, welcomed today’s announcement: “Motorola Solutions’ decision to base its new R&D Centre here in Cork City represents a vote of confidence in the city’s offering for business and reinforces Cork’s reputation as a hub for the technology sector.”
