Cork Company of the Year Awards 2027 Open for Entries

Applications are now open for the Cork Company of the Year Awards 2027, inviting businesses from across the region to showcase their ambition, innovation and leadership that continue to position Cork as one of Europe's most dynamic business locations.

Sponsored by KPMG, the Cork Company of the Year Awards are among Ireland's most prestigious business accolades, recognising companies that are making a significant contribution to the fabric of our region and its economic resilience.

Susie Horgan, President of Cork Chamber said, “Cork’s strength as a business location is built on the quality and diversity of the companies that grow, invest and create employment here. These awards give us an opportunity to recognise their contribution and showcase the businesses helping to shape Cork’s future.

“With the continued support of our sponsor KPMG and the Irish Examiner, we look forward to another outstanding awards programme showcasing the very best of Cork business.”

Conor Healy, CEO of Cork Chamber, said, “Every year, the Cork Company of the Year Awards uncover great business stories from across Cork, from emerging companies finding their feet to established businesses reaching new markets and new milestones. I would encourage companies of all sizes and sectors to put themselves forward and tell their story.”

The awards are open for entries across four categories, Emerging, SME, Large and International Cork Company of the Year.

Speaking on behalf of the title sponsor, KPMG, Chris Wood, Partner – Audit said, "The Cork Company of the Year Awards shine a spotlight on the enterprises that are defining the future of one of Europe's most vibrant city regions. From indigenous success stories to global industry leaders, Cork businesses continue to demonstrate the innovation, ambition and resilience that underpin Ireland's economic success. KPMG is proud to partner with Cork Chamber in recognising these achievements and celebrating the organisations that are helping to shape Cork's next chapter."

Naoimh Frawley, Director of People, Operations & Governance at Cork Chamber added, “One of the strengths of these awards is the diversity of businesses they recognise. Previous finalists and winners have ranged from ambitious start-ups and scaling SMEs to globally recognised multinational organisations, demonstrating that excellence comes in many forms.”

The 2026 Overall Cork Company of the Year title was awarded to Qualcomm recognising a landmark year in which the company announced further investment in its Cork operations, expanding its advanced research and development capabilities in artificial intelligence and next-generation computing while reinforcing Cork's position as a global technology hub.
