Global Family Business Survey - Invitation to participate
To better understand how risk and artificial intelligence are reshaping family businesses across generations, the STEP Project Global Consortium (SPGC), of which UCC is a proud affiliate, is conducting the 2026 SPGC Global Family Business Survey.
We invite you to contribute to this important global research initiative by sharing your perspectives and experiences. The survey takes approximately 12 minutes to complete. It will remain open until November 15, 2026. We welcome responses from family business owners, next-generation family members, CEOs, managing directors, and professional non-family executives.

This global study explores how family businesses:
· Navigate risk and uncertainty through effective governance and risk management practices;
· Embrace artificial intelligence and digital transformation;
· Foster transgenerational entrepreneurship across generations; and
· Achieve long-term business success through innovation, strategic renewal, and sustainable performance.
All information collected through the survey will be treated with strict confidentiality. Responses will be aggregated and analysed only at the group level, ensuring that no individual, family, or business can be identified in any analysis or subsequent reporting.
The insights gathered through this survey will contribute to the development of a global report examining how family businesses navigate risk and uncertainty, embrace artificial intelligence and digital transformation, foster transgenerational entrepreneurship, and achieve long-term business and innovation performance. The report will be launched at the 2027 SPGC Global Family Business Summit, hosted by Grand Valley State University in Michigan, USA, in May 2027.
Thank you for your valuable contribution to advancing global knowledge on family businesses.
