Arup is delighted to have partnered with the World Bank Group to help gather information to assess and improve Ireland’s business environment. This initiative aims to drive policy reforms, address inequalities, and promote inclusive economic growth across the country.
We are seeking to identify specialists in Cork across five key challenges for business establishment that can comment on the process of gaining: a) building permits, b) environmental permits, and utility connections [c) electricity, d) water and e) internet].
Opportunity
This is an important opportunity for your business to have their say on the current business landscape in Ireland and pitch ideas for better business conditions. Through participating in a survey and follow-up, respondents will have the opportunity to:
- Influence Policy: Join an exclusive group of industry leaders providing critical insights that will shape recommendations to improve Ireland's regulatory framework.

Respondent Profile
We're looking for Technical Specialists with hands-on experience in the land development sector in Cork who can comment on:
- Building Permits: Construction planning and permit applications.
- Environmental Permits: EIA studies and related permit applications.
- Utility Services: Securing business connections for electricity, water, or internet.
