Guaranteed Irish Expands Board and Strengthens Appraisals Advisory Council
Thursday 12th Feb: Guaranteed Irish is pleased to announce the appointment of new Directors to its Board and Appraisals Advisory Council, further strengthening the organisation’s leadership as it continues to champion trusted businesses across Ireland. Underpinned by strong evidence from 2025 research which shows that 75% of members say that the Guaranteed Irish licence contributed positively to their bottom line.
Joanna Gardiner, CEO of ELAVE Gardiner Family Apothecary, joins the Board bringing extensive experience in Irish manufacturing and family business leadership. A passionate advocate for Irish-made products, Joanna has built a strong brand rooted in quality, provenance, and community. Her commitment to supporting local enterprise and sustainable growth aligns closely with the core values of Guaranteed Irish.
Bryan Dunne, Partner and Head of Matheson’s Employment and Benefits Practice, also joins the Board. With significant experience advising leading domestic and international organisations, Bryan brings deep expertise in employment law, governance and people strategy. His insight will support Guaranteed Irish as it continues to grow its membership and reinforce best practice across its network of over 2,500 businesses.
Strengthening the organisation’s Appraisals Advisory Council, John Reade joins with more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance sector. As Head of Business Insurance at FBD, John has extensive knowledge of risk management and business resilience, alongside a strong commitment to supporting local communities nationwide. His experience will enhance the robustness and integrity of Guaranteed Irish’s membership appraisal process.
They join an established Board featuring senior representatives from KPMG, Viatel Communications, Kingspan and Musgrave, reflecting the breadth and strength of the Guaranteed Irish network.
These appointments mark an important step in the continued evolution of Guaranteed Irish, ensuring strong governance, rigorous standards and trusted leadership as the organisation advances its mission to support jobs, community, and provenance in a sustainable manner across Ireland.
