Irish Company Pinta Acquires Mentors.ie, Expanding Ireland's Largest Independent Executive Mentoring Panel
Pinta, the Irish people and organisational change consultancy, has acquired Mentors.ie, the executive mentoring and coaching platform, in a move set to significantly scale up access to senior business mentoring for SMEs and corporate professionals across Ireland, the UK and North America.
The acquisition, led by Co-Managing Directors Conor O'Geran and Pat Murphy, will see Pinta take over Mentors.ie from the Brightwater and BPVA Group.
Pinta is investing more than €125,000 into the business, funding an expanded team and a renewed marketing drive as it scales the platform from its new base in Munster.
Since January 2026, the Mentors.ie panel has grown from five, based primarily in Dublin, to 20 and rising, with a remit that now extends across the island of Ireland, the UK, Europe and North America.
The expanded Mentors.ie panel brings together a breadth of senior expertise, including former non-executive directors of FTSE-listed companies, giving clients access to what amounts to a complete virtual leadership team or advisory board, a significant resource for SMEs in particular that may not have access to that level of experience in-house. Panel members have experience across finance, strategy, scaling, management buy-out, personal resilience, leadership skills, team dynamics and more.
Conor O'Geran, Co-Managing Director of Pinta, spoke of the acquisition,
"Mentors.ie has built something valuable - a platform that connects professionals and leaders with mentors who have real, hard-won experience to share. Our investment is about scaling that, significantly increasing the size and breadth of the panel so that more SMEs and more professionals, wherever they are based, can access the kind of senior guidance that's often out of reach.
For clients, this means real, immediate benefit. We're talking about mentors who have sat on the boards of major listed companies, scaled businesses internationally, and led through tough complexity. For an SME without the resources to build out a full leadership team or board, that level of expertise is now easily accessible."
Mark Sheehan, Business Development Lead, of Mentors.ie spoke of what this means for the mentors and clients alike,
"This relaunch is an exciting next step for Mentors.ie. From day one, our focus has been on connecting professionals and leaders with mentors who bring genuine, real-world experience and this investment allows us to do that at a much greater scale. Growing our panel from a handful of mentors in Dublin to a network of over 20 spanning Ireland, Europe, the UK and North America means we can match clients with exactly the right expertise for their challenge, whenever and wherever they need it. We're looking forward to what comes next."
The acquisition forms part of Pinta's broader focus on the people side of organisational change, working with clients across sectors including BioPharma, Life Sciences, Medical Devices, financial services, construction and the charitable and sporting sectors.
