Oaktree Financial to Host Black-Tie Charity Gala Celebrating 15 Years in Business

Oaktree Financial will mark a significant milestone this year with a glamorous 15th Anniversary Charity Gala, taking place on Friday, 22nd November 2025, 6pm at Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork. The black-tie event will raise vital funds for two Cork-based charities: Cork ARC Cancer Support House and the Eating Disorder Centre Cork.

Founded in 2010, Oaktree Financial has grown into one of Ireland’s leading financial planning firms, known for its people-first ethos, independent advice, and deep commitment to long-term client relationships. With a strong focus on transparency, integrity, and trust, the company has built a loyal client base and a strong presence across the region. The gala not only celebrates 15 years of success, but also reinforces Oaktree’s dedication to giving back to the community that has supported them every step of the way.

Cork ARC Cancer Support House provides free, confidential support to cancer patients and their families throughout Cork and Munster. Their services range from counselling and peer support to practical wellbeing programmes, helping people navigate their cancer journey with dignity and hope. With centres in Cork city and Bantry, the charity’s reach and impact are immense.
“We’re truly honoured to be selected as a beneficiary of this special event,” said Stephen Teap (CEO). “Cork ARC relies on the generosity of the public to continue our work, and partnerships like this one with Oaktree Financial are a lifeline. Every euro raised will make a real difference to people going through one of the toughest times in their lives.”

The Eating Disorder Centre Cork (EDCC) is the only dedicated centre of its kind in Munster, offering specialised therapeutic support to children, teenagers, and adults living with eating disorders. Their multidisciplinary approach provides a vital early intervention and support system for individuals and families often struggling to access timely, specialised care.
“There is still so much stigma and misunderstanding around eating disorders,” said Anne Gaynor, Clinical Director at EDCC. “We’re incredibly grateful to Oaktree Financial for helping to shine a light on this issue. Demand for our services continues to grow, and the support from this gala will help us reach even more people who desperately need it.”

The evening promises to be one of Cork’s standout events of the year, featuring:

  • A prosecco drinks reception

  • Gourmet three-course dinner with wine

  • Live music from a band and DJ

  • A large fundraising raffle with top-tier prizes

  • Guest MC and entertainment surprises throughout the night

Adrian Godwin, Managing Director of Oaktree Financial, said:
“It’s hard to believe it’s been 15 years — and what a journey it’s been! We’ve grown, adapted, and supported clients through every major milestone in their lives. But this event isn’t just about us — it’s about saying thank you. Thank you to our clients, our colleagues, and our wider community. We wanted to do something meaningful, something that celebrates the spirit of Oaktree, which has always been about people first. These two charities are incredibly close to our hearts, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone for what promises to be a very special night.”
The event is generously supported by a growing network of sponsors.
