Progress on the Cork to Limerick N/M20 paving the way for sustainable growth, says Cork Chamber
Cork Chamber welcomes the design updates and the announcement of the preferred corridor of the highly anticipated multi-modal N/M20 Cork to Limerick project.
“The advancement of this project marks a significant step towards the successful delivery of this strategic multi-modal corridor, which once completed will be a catalyst for sustainable growth in our region. This project is a sustainable travel project with 100km of segregated active travel infrastructure and transport hubs that will facilitate sustainable travel through the provision of EV chargers, car sharing and public transport services,” said Conor Healy, CEO Cork Chamber.
"Sustainability is one of our top priorities and it is clear that this project is an important step towards facilitating mass public transport between two of Ireland’s most progressive and growing city regions while also improving the quality of life and safety for local users in towns and villages along the route."
"Connectivity is the cornerstone of progress and prosperity, so it is vital that Cork and Limerick are seamlessly linked fostering economic growth and collaboration. It is crucial that any roadblocks to delivery are removed to ensure this project can be delivered without delay.”
