Roll up, roll up, The Montenotte is bringing an added slice of retro flavour to laid back summer afternoons with the launch of its beautifully restored Vintage Van.
Executive Chef Martin Lovell is firing up the ovens in The Glasshouse courtyard from 2pm-7pm every Wednesday – Sunday throughout the summer and throwing out a handcrafted collection of thin-crust, artisan pizzas alongside chilled Italian beers, wines, and cocktails and plenty of sun-soaked atmosphere.
Each of the four delicious 12” pizzas offers a delicious twist on classic flavour combinations and is generously topped with The Montenotte’s carefully sourced local ingredients.
Keep it classic with The Vintage Van Margherita switched-up with smoky notes of Toons Bridge Smoked Scamorza.
Unearth the woodland flavours of The Forager with crème fraîche, Garryhinch wild mushrooms, Cáis Na Tíre cheese & truffle oil.
Turn up the heat with The Orchard Fire’s punchy combination San Marzano tomato, Fior Di Latte mozzarella, Gubbeen chorizo, caramelised onion, rocket, and chives.
Or delve into the crisp and aromatic flavours of The Mandarin showcasing delicious Skeaghanore confit duck with hoisin glaze alongside quail egg, pickled cucumber, and spring onion.
