Springboard Communications named PRCA Agency of the Year for the second time
Springboard Communications, the independent Irish communications agency, has been named PRCA Agency of the Year at the 2025 Spotlight Awards for Excellence in Communications, held at The Shelbourne, Dublin on 20 June. This marks the second time the agency has received the prestigious national award, having previously won in 2023.
The PRCA recognised Springboard Communications for its people-first approach, long-standing client relationships, and commitment to purpose-led growth. Judges also commended the agency’s B Corp certification and dedication to innovation.
In a double celebration, Client Manager Chloe Kavanagh was named Rising Star 2025 for her achievements in digital strategy and client leadership, along with her forward-thinking vision for the communications profession.
Susie Horgan, Managing Director and Founder of Springboard Communications, said: “Winning PRCA Agency of the Year once was an incredible honour — winning it twice is truly special. It reflects the commitment and ingenuity our team brings to every project. Over the past year, we’ve evolved our model, deepened client partnerships and helped shape a more purposeful future for communications. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved and grateful to our clients for their continued trust.”
Organised by the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA), the Spotlight Awards celebrate the very best in Irish communications. Open to agencies, sole traders and in-house PR teams working in partnership, the awards highlight innovation, creativity, and strategic excellence across the sector.
Recent milestones for Springboard Communications include the launch of its e-book Beyond Buzzwords: Authentic Stakeholder Engagement in Sustainability, and its new sustainability Decoder Framework. In 2024, Springboard achieved B Corp Certification — one of only three Irish PR agencies to hold this accreditation — underscoring its commitment to people, planet and purpose. Its growing portfolio of Green Transition clients now represents the agency’s second-largest sector, reflecting both strategic intent and purpose alignment.
Springboard launched the second edition of its Internal Communications in Ireland Report in 2024, now a widely used resource across sectors. The agency has also made significant strides in evolving its pricing model toward value-based outcomes, aligning services more closely with client impact.
Speaking on being named Rising Star, Chloe Kavanagh said: “This is such an honour. It means a lot to be recognised for work I genuinely love doing. I’m passionate about pushing what digital and strategic communications can achieve, and excited to help shape how we, as an industry, embrace evolving digital platforms with creativity, responsibility, and clarity. Springboard is a team that really believes in communications as a force for good — and I’m proud to be part of its future.”
Springboard Communications is the Irish PR agency of the Worldcom Public Relations Group. The agency works with clients across Ireland and internationally, spanning sectors such as technology, public sector, renewable energy, pharmaceutical and social enterprise.
