Tech Industry Alliance Launches 2025 Leaders Awards with Two New Categories

Tech Industry Alliance (TIA) has officially launched the 2025 Leaders Awards, which will take place on Friday, 28th November 2025 in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cork. Nominations are now open for the awards and will remain open until 10 October 2025. Individuals and organisations are invited to nominate those making an exceptional contribution to the tech industry in the South-West.
Now in its 18th year Tech Industry Alliance Leaders Awards is the highlight of the business and technology calendar in the South-West, Leaders Awards celebrate the very best of the region’s tech sector from dynamic start-ups and scale-ups to global industry leaders with a strong local presence.
 
This year sees the introduction of two new award categories:

  • AI Award – recognising outstanding achievement and innovation in Artificial Intelligence.

  • Best Small Indigenous Irish Company Award – celebrating homegrown Irish businesses making a significant impact in the tech industry.

 
Speaking at the launch, Matthew Camilleri, Chair of Tech Industry Alliance, said:
 
“The Leaders Awards are about recognising the vision, ambition, and excellence that drive the tech sector in the South-West. With the addition of the AI Award and the Best Small Indigenous Irish Company Award, we are shining a light on two areas that are shaping the future of our economy and our communities.”
 
The Leaders Awards will feature finalists across a range of categories, judged by a panel of industry experts, with winners announced by Anton Savage (Event MC) at a black-tie gala evening attended by senior business leaders, innovators, educators, and policymakers. This event promises a night of entertainment, networking, and celebration
