Thermo Fisher Scientific Strengthens Team With Appointment of Senior Finance Manager

Thermo Fisher Scientific has appointed Daniel Kearney as Site Finance Lead for its pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing facility in Cork. A Chartered Accountant with over 10 years’ finance experience, Daniel will be responsible for leading the Finance team on site.
 
Speaking on the appointment, Edel Collins, General Manager of Thermo Fisher’s Cork site said: “We are delighted to welcome Daniel to the team. As we continue to grow, having the expertise that Daniel brings will ensure the site has the right foundations to build on for future growth.”
 
Commenting on his new role, Daniel added: “Already I can see the team at Thermo Fisher is hugely dedicated to what they do.  The site is now serving more than 20 customers, from large pharma to niche bio-techs, and I’m looking forward to helping the team safe-guard current business while scaling the finance infrastructure to support future growth.”
 
Prior to joining Thermo Fisher, Daniel worked at PwC, Voxpro, Musgrave & IPL.
