Viska Systems leads the way to Innovation success

Viska Systems has been announced as a finalist in the Design & Manufacturing category of The Irish Times Innovation Awards 2024.

Leaders in their field, Viska Systems has been nominated for their product, Viskam, which is transforming manufacturing with cutting-edge AI-powered vision technology. Designed to push the boundaries of what's possible, Viskam empowers manufacturers to achieve new levels of efficiency and precision.

Viskam is an AI-powered vision solution designed for real-time video and image analysis. Featuring a high-power GPU and support for both closed and open-source models, it enables efficient automation and Industry 4.0 integration. With applications like counting, part classification, label reading and video insights, it’s ideal for sectors including manufacturing, surveillance, and research. The Irish Times Innovation Awards aim to recognise and promote the best service, product, or operational innovations throughout the island. The finalists were selected by an independent panel of judges to secure a place at the final and a chance to win the overall ‘Innovation of the Year’ award. Along with the prestige of winning, the overall winner will receive a UCD Smurfit Executive Development scholarship from a selection of their Executive Development short courses commencing in 2024/2025 Academic Year. The winner will also receive a complimentary annual Premium Digital subscription to The Irish Times.

Viska Systems will be competing against two other finalists in the category.
