Fota Wildlife Park confirms it will reopen to the public on Saturday, December 20th
Fota Wildlife Park, a not-for-profit conservation organisation, today confirmed that it will reopen to the public on Saturday, December 20th. This follows a 10-week closure period to manage an avian influenza outbreak originating from wild bird populations.Working closely with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM), the Park implemented comprehensive biosecurity protocols and disease control measures.
