Customers First - Setting Cork Apart

The Local Enterprise Office, Cork City is delighted to invite you to our ‘Customers First – Setting Cork Apart’ event on the morning of Monday March 5th as part of a programme of events for Local Enterprise Week 2018.

This is a free event and will be delivered in two parts:

Part I - For Owners/Managers

Registration:                     8.30am
Speaker Programme:
  9.00am -10.40am

  • Aimed at owners/managers of any consumer facing business (Retail businesses, Café, restaurant, hospitality or any business dealing with customers).

Also suitable for front-line staff (optional).  Should you like any of your front-line staff to attend this first session as well as part 2, they need to book in separately for both sessions.

Customer service and customer engagement have never been as important within retail circles.  More and more recent case studies have indicated that delivering great customer service can help businesses succeed, despite all of the competition they face in today’s market place.  Whether you own or manage a café, retail business, restaurant, hospitality business or any consumer facing business, this breakfast morning event is for you.  The speaker line up represents some of Ireland’s leading experts who will both challenge and deliver their recipe for success.

Part 2 - For front-line staff

Registration:                  10.40am
Training:                         11.00am – 12.30pm

The front-line staff session will cover the following:

Most businesses talk about delivering good customer service. The reality is that good service wins no awards, it is just the entry level. Good is not the benchmark.  Customers will only remember 2 types of service…bad and great. They don't reward good service. The focus of this energised “Power of Me” customer service training, for front-line staff, is how to deliver great service on every occasion. Staff attending will explore simple tips to allow them to raise the standard and make Cork service great.

Note: Front-line staff are very welcome to attend the morning session along with owner/managers and we ask that they book in for both sessions using the 2 separate booking links so that we can cater for the numbers.
