IN CONVERSATION: Eithne Jordan & Margarita Cappock

IN CONVERSATION: Eithne Jordan & Margarita Cappock

Join us for a special ‘In Conversation’ event with artist Eithne Jordan and curator Margarita Cappock as they discuss the exhibitions Mise en scène, Parts I and II.

Free but advance booking recommended via Eventbrite https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/in-conversation-eithne-jordan-margarita-cappock-tickets-432450419847

Curated by Margarita Cappock, Mise en scène, Part II (until 8 January 2023) takes the form of an intervention in our Sculpture Galleries as twenty-one exquisite miniature paintings by Eithne Jordan nestle amongst the historic Canova Casts.

The exhibition’s companion, Mise en scène, Part I ran at Highlanes Gallery, Drogheda from 27 August to 1 October 2022.

Eithne Jordan lives and works in Dublin and in the Languedoc, France. She has exhibited widely in Europe and is a member of both Aosdána and the Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA), where she holds the position of Keeper.
Dr Margarita Cappock is a curator and art historian. Formerly Head of Collections and Deputy Director of the Hugh Lane Gallery, she now works at Dublin City Arts Office and is Chair of ICOM Ireland.

This event in part of the EITHNE JORDAN: Mise en scène, Part II exhibition programme.
