Irish Blood Transfusion Service - World Blood Donor Day - Pairc Ui Chaoimh Blood Donation Clinic

Every year countries around the world celebrate World Blood Donor Day (WBDD). The event serves to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products and to thank voluntary blood donors for their life-saving gifts of blood.  In Ireland, 1 in 4 of us will require a transfusion at some stage of our lives and only 3% of the eligible population donate.
 
To celebrate World Blood Donor Day on 14^th June 2024 we will have 2 Blood Donor clinics in Cork City on Thursday 13^th June.
 
St Finbarrs                       3.15pm – 7.15pm
Pairc Ui Chaoimh            2.30pm – 6.50pm
