UNICEF Calls for Urgent Support Following Devastating Earthquakes in Venezuela
On Wednesday 24th June, a 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck in the north of Venezuela shortly after 18:00 local time, followed by a second quake of 7.5 magnitude that struck less than a minute later. Current reports estimate 1,450 people have died, and 3,150 are injured. These earthquakes caused widespread devastation.
